lamin x issues
So I got some yellow Laminx for Christmas. Put it on and now my left fog light has a red spot in the middle. Is it overheating or something?

is the red spot on the lens/film or showing red on the output, or both?

lamin-x shouldnt be affected by the heat of a normal fog light too much, lots of people use it.

It's right in the center, here's a picture of how it looks:

you should contact them directly - they have a 5-year warranty on their products i believe.

Did you wash your lenses with something other than soap and water before installing the films? Maybe a chemical from one of the cleaning products is slowly reacting with the film?

I used straight water, but I think that week I had a car wash, because I remember it being very clean.

Okay, so I got them off to make sure the fog light are fine, and here's the results:

Lamin-x sheet has the red spot, looks like it was burned or something. Very dirty, but you can see the red dot/stain

Fog lights little hazy (I run them plenty) but no visible damage.

Unaffected one:

One that had the red stained lamin-x:

Any aftermarket bulbs?

Stock, OEM. But I don't think they're very well insulated. They're very loose as it is. I'm not blaming Lamin-X, I intend to get more and try installing them with the fog lights off the car, instead of still on.
