FEED UP with Balance Shaft Assembly Removal

I've spent at least 5 hours researching the subject, and still no definite answers. I've made a few phone calls in the past to FSWERKS and they have given me conflicting answers.

I have an 05 ST with 95K miles. I feel like my car is vibrating apart. I removed the B.S. assembly 4-5 years ago and the vibration has become pretty bad. Bad enough to where most people who ride in my car will point out how loud and obnoxious the vibrations are.

I've heard you can't just put the assembly back on because the assembly was originally put on by a calibrated machine.

*I also have heard you can bolt it right back up (heard this from the lead mechanic at FSWERKS, Vick "If you can remove it, you can put it back it on"). Sounds fishy even though he is much more knowledgeable than me.

Does anyone out there have experience with putting the assembly BACK ON?

*Vick suggested it might be a motor mount?

Any input is welcomed.

A BSD should not do that. A bad motor mount could.

The passenger mount looks beat, but I have no clue if it's bad. How much does your car vibrate without the BS assembly?

I would say you have a bad motor mount. The motor mounts are easy to remove. I would remove the passenger mount first and inspect it.

Do you have a aftermarket dogbone?

No bad at idle. I have a vf engineering dogbone, cfm's udp's, a set of crane cams. It is worth it, holds more oil, removes 18+ lbs of static weight & 8 or so lbs of rotational weight. I am looking at Sure motorsports, JBR= James Barone racing transmission & passenger mounts.

^yeah, i don't see how removing the balance shaft could make the vibration get worse over time.

Check those motor mounts first.

My money is on the mounts... Tranny one under the battery is easy as well as the others, worth changing them out every 2 years anyway... Just try to use OEM on the Passenger mount.. Others will be questionable.. the dog bone one best if you replace with something more solid... and tranny can be anything..

I had same issue...

Vegas, what issue did you have? the crazy amounts of vibration? Also, my plan is to get an OEM passenger motor mount. When you said, "the dog bone one is the best if you replace with some more solid", what did you mean?
