automatic door lock question

I left the key in the ignition (in the off position) on my 2013 hatchback with the doors closed and unlocked and the hatch open, which turned the hatch interior lights on. After a half hour, the power save feature turned the lights off automatically, but it also locked the doors. Good thing the hatch was open (and the package tray is removable). Anybody else have any odd door locking?

My 02 Wagon locks the doors when ever it feels like it, I can leave the car UN-locked 5 minutes later it locks all doors on it's own. I always make sure I have the keys in my hand when I leave the car.

I did deactivate the auto-lock feature that did not help. Weird or what.

I was thinking of removing the ground side of the battery for a few minutes while the battery it disconnected try starting the car to make sure the computer is completely drained of power. This may reset the computer and eliminate any weird resets.
