a little out dated but if you still wanna try i would say to go the local scrape yard and try it out... iv seen some neat stuff... i dont see how its like trying to put a honda carpet in a chevy... this is ford on ford. I helped my dad build a fairmont with a fox body dash and thunderbird seats front and back.. the back ones just had to be shave and stitched...
Ford on Ford means nothing, I've seen stuff that looked very close and you had to rebuild the entire part to make it work........................and, still Ford on Ford there........you have to have the eye for it, either easy or no go there.
Most definitely agree with you that trying stuff at the junk yard is useful, although I did just look to see if they will fit, and I highly doubt it looking at my Mustangs seats to my Foci's.
Although, junkyards for sure! How do you think I know the wheel does not fit on an F-150 [giggle] I hated my 03 F-150's steering wheel and love the Stangs, so I went to the junk yard and pulled a Stang's wheel and tried it. If your lucky like me, the junk yard let me try it for free, as I was willing to trade steering wheels if it did fit.
it had a 89 mustang dash, 96 thunderbird seats. and who knows what else. lol... but hey i guess we learn something new everyday
