Question 07 focus Battery Draw

hey guys

i have a 07 focus 1.4 with key-less entry and im having a problem with a draw from the battery its showing 1.4amps draw on it after leaving the car sitting for 30mins, now a chap told me that it was the key-less entry that was the problem and it was the modual, is there a way to bypass this to see if this is the problem or is there anything else i need to check

also second problem is the stereo is Bluetooth enabled but when i try to pair them it tells me that it is unable to connect any ideas

thanks a million for looking

thanks mikeeshaq

had a look at that post and it lead me to the alternator so checked that is not the problem. so the next step i took was to leave everything shut down for an hour to make sure all systems had quit and removed the fuse for the keyless system (which was fuse 56) and checked the draw again and low and behold problem solved, so i was hoping, i tied everthing back up and left it over night to see if it would need a jump start again in this morning and boom turned over first time :) jobs oxo now the next thing is to fix the problem dose anybody know the cost of the new switch and were to start on the repair itself, is it a major job or minor one and can it be tackled by myself

thanks again mikeeshaq

The big problem is the the parts numbering system between the USA market and European market [e.g.] is different.

USA uses a mix of numbers and letters while I believe the UK market uses numbers only

Then there is the possibility of different modules in different markets
