Just got mine installed! PITA though, I've got the MTX-75 and only one good arm to work with. Thank God I have brothers to help me out!

I'm gonna go for a drive after lunch and then post back.

I'll probably eventually get the Ingall's Stiffy Torque Damper to take the strain off the rear mount.

Just got back from my trip to town, and the shifting is WAY better. Totally worth it!

Oooohh, beeeotcchhh. Finally got my lower/rear VF mount in after one failed attempt. I must say the hardest part was getting the holes lined up between the mount and the subframe, that probably took me 20 mins of swearing and grunting.

The does shake the car noticeably now, but I raised idle to 900, which cleared it up.

Just moving the wagon up and down the driveway I saw an improvement in feel and engagement. Can't wait to get on the twisties and shuffle through the gears

not sure if this has been addressed or not but your link on page 1 to focussport (I assume its to the page to purchase a mount) doesn't work anymore. I keep getting a not found page. I have found the mount on the CFM web page but it was with a kit including 2 other mounts. Is there any other place to find just the Dog bone?

Install question

Any reason you need the car up on jack stands? I normally put my car up on ramps when I wanna work underneath (ie change oil etc) j/w if using ramps instead of jack stands would affect it. I doubt it will but doesn't hurt to ask.

Shouldn't make a difference.

Do the Rear engine mounts on Focus Sport work on the 08s?

I Have tried emailing them, and calling them with no luck

Edit: Finally got through on sales line, they do not work, they will be coming out with one towards winter...

Just ordered mine! Hopefully I'll be installing it this weekend, or next.
