is there by any chance a detailed list of what bugs this will fix or anything new to MFT that this update will do?

This is what the service manager at the dealership did when my whole Nav/Radio died. Since then it has frozen up a few times where none of the controls work. So far turning off the car and opening the door has eventually turned it off and then it reboots itself. Glad to see I'm not the only one and that they're working on a fix for this!

Yellowblaze12 -

Update 2.11 has been released which should address the concerns you're having. I would recommend contacting your dealership and scheduling an appointment.

MY dealer says the update can only be done Mon-Fri and not on Saturday. Does anyone know if this is true or why?

THey probably don't want to pay their people overtime to come in during the weekend unless they are they are being paid to fix something...

just my guess...

the update takes well over an hour to do. most of us dealerships are open on saturdays with fairly limited staff for a few hours. we try to keep things fast and easy. plus, if an issue were to arise im pretty sure no one works the weekends in Ford's techline for us to reach. its more preventative measures on a dealers part.

some dealerships may only have lube technicians (quicklane) on hand for saturdays and not the certified techs that need to do the job.

is it something that can be done on a saturday, yes. is it Ford's rule to not do so on a saturday, no.
