Alternator / regulator wiring

Battery light came on, noticed that one of the wires to to the regulator was broke at the connector. Got a new OEM pigtail assembly..

but the wires are all black (not color coded)! In my infinite wisdom I didn't note the wire config before I pulled the old one off The connector ports are labed 1 2 3.. anyone able to help with which color goes to which number? Harness wires are GRAY BLUE RED. The haynes wiring diagram doesn't help.

This thread comes up in web searches so I'm going to resurrect it just long enough to say that you can buy the pigtails via Amazon for $5 to $20 by searching for 1U2Z-14S411-TA. Also, below is a nice sketch from justanswer.com. The circuit function note for pin 3 says, "not overload protected" -- this may support a message in another thread here on focusfanatics that says that no fusible link was found. (I also fail to find a fusible link.)
