2002 Focus won't Start (crank over)

My 2002 Focus, ZX3, Automatic. intermitantly won't start, or dies when driving or idling. (hot or cold). When it won't start (crank), All accessory power and lights are fine, BUT! the odometer and tripmeter will display "dashes" ( ---- ), and some instrument lights are not on, (ie: Oil Preasure). No clicking or anything when trying to start, tried in park and neutral.

If I leave ignition switch in the "On" position for approx 30 seconds, I hear (sounds like the fuel pump) come on, the mileage and trip come back, oil light comes on and car will then start.

Things I've done: New battery, alternator, Motorcraft battery harness, starter, starter relay, reseated ECU and Control module connectors, cleaned all ground connections, plus ran new/extra ground wires. Alternator is charging at 14.65 vdc, No codes displayed on my ODBII code reader.

Any other Suggestions??
Please! David

This is a PATS problem.

Make sure you are using the correct key for the car and not a spare key. If you've purchased a new key, did you have it programed properly?

Thanks!

Ya know, I was thinking that was a possibility, but I have 2 keys and have been using both with the same result. Although, they are a couple years old, and they were cut and programed at Ford. But I guess that doesn't mean they are 100% quality.
