help with transmission linkage

ok i rebuilt an svt focus getrag 6-speed transmission, and sent it to ford for them to put it back on, and the exact word out of there mouth, "it doesnt go into neutral". ok so they sent it back, now im just looking for some advise on putting the shifter on the tranny back together the right way, any help?

yea that was zero help, im talking about inside of the transmission. the part that moves the shift forks.
