I drive an 06 focus st, and i know its safe to buckle up. but sometimes i dont feel like putting my seat belt on. i know that i could put it on and then take it off, which would disengage the alarm. but how do i turn it off for good? [?|]
Never physicly kill the alarm, its just easy to pop in a fake belt to shut it up, and the next owner may want it, and have kids and no idea how to re-enable.
$6 with free shipping is peanuts for the joy of no Ding Ding
my seat belt was frayed really bad, so I got a belt out of another Focus and installed it into mine. After installing it, the belt light does not go off when I plug in the buckle. It then goes thru the five minutes of beeping etc. Why doesn't the replacement belt work properly??? Help
The sales guy told me this was not possible. I came here and it said to look in the manual. Sure enough its in there no more silly chime. So happy!
