Unhappy Code PO171

I really need help on this one i know what the code means but having a hard time solving it. I've changed the bank i oxygen censor and i am about to change my temp censor, did a fuel treatment, air filter replacement and now i'm stumped. Was told to change the fuel filter. Parts are starting to get expencive. The car runs fine when you first start it cold but when it heats up it sputters and sometimes cuts out, While your driving it is fine, happens when you stop or just idling. Engine light is on and as i've mentioned the code is PO171. Someone please lead me in the right direction. Your help is greatly appreciated.

that would be a System too Lean (Bank 1) code

A code P0171 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:

The MAF (Mass Air Flow) Sensor is dirty or faulty. Note: The use of "oiled" air filters (K&N, etc.) can cause the MAF to become dirty if the filter is over-oiled
There could be a vacuum leak downstream of the MAF sensor.
Possible SolutionsPossible solutions include:

In the vast majority of cases, simply cleaning the MAF sensor does the trick. Consult your service manual for it's location if you need help. I find it's best to take it off and spray it with electronics cleaner or brake cleaner. Make sure you are careful not to damage the MAF sensor, and make sure it's dry before reinstalling
Inspect all vacuum and PCV hoses, replace if necessary
Check for a dirty fuel filter and proper fuel pressure

I had the PO171 code on my 2002 ZX5 when it hit 90K. It ended up being a PCV line that collapsed. The line that runs behind the engine and is attached around the middle of the engine under where the Throttle body sits. I changed that line and that was it. Check it out.
