Ford versus Motorcraft parts?

Last time i checked for brake rotors Motorcraft was 20% cheaper than Ford original. But is there a quality difference?

Thanks

There is no difference. I was told by Mike, himself. (hilbish ford)

Come to think of it... just order your stuff from him. See if it's any cheaper.

Mike is that the guy from fordparts.com? So then maybe parts are even from the same factory. And why would i even buy Ford contra Motorcraft then? Everytime i ask my ford dealer for a price they give me the Ford part price first. I have to specify that i want Motorcraft. Why is this so?

Thanks for the fastest reply ever! :)

Mike is the guy that is an FF affiliate from Hilbish Ford in NC. However, since you're in Norway, you'll probably get a better price locally

Yeah, there's no difference. I went with the cheaper ones (Motorcraft) while getting both my front and rear ones replaced recently. Gotta admit it was nice of them to give me that option. You'd think Ford would want to push sales of Ford brakes only, but they really don't.

I don't know about that. Everytime i see you write focus part prizes i get amazed.

For example in Norway:
1 Ford brake rotor costs 118 dollars.
1 Motorcraft brake rotor costs 88 dollars.

How much in US?

Wait.....I thought Ford Parts = Motorcraft parts.
As in they are the exact same thing.
Whenever I get parts from my local ford dealership, they are motorcraft parts.
I was told motorcraft parts were Ford OEM parts.
WTF?

EUROS????? OH wow.. you do need to contact Mike, Hilbish Ford in our Vendor section. Post a thread asking him about international shipping and check it out

Hilbish Ford

Hmmm... is the Euro Focus 5 lug or 4 lug? What's the diameter of the rotor? Do you have a part number?
