Please don't take this the wrong way, but if it is one of those $5 resistors they sell off ebay you got taken. Throw it away.
All it does it make the MAF "think" the air is cooler and it will cause the ECU to add more gas. Eventually the ECU will learn this and correct for it and it won't work anymore.
It's basically a scam to sucker people out of money. Besides, you can get the same thing at Radio Shack for like 10 cents.
But if you really want to put it in, even though it woun't do anything other then kill your gas mileage, the IAT sensor wires on the MAF sensor are #1 and #6, or A and F, however they number/letter it (been a while since I looked, but pretty sure it's letters)

Had an mid 90's Escort, I bought one put it on there and it never did crap, there was no HP increase or fuel economy drop or torque; ur might as well take that and run it over, cuz that the only thing it's good for.
You'll see opinions on everything, but that's at least a functional product from a reputable company.
