puttin on the precision kit....input wanted

its been 3 months since i blew the motor and now i want boost back....so i am getting a group of my guys to help me put it on ina day or 2.....form my understanding it is pretty simple.....myonly concern is the tune.....i can run it on the tune i have until i can get a dyno tune.....also....can i run stock cam gears?......and last but not least....i need to get a tap for oil so i can run the oil pump....where is an easy tap w.o drilling........is this a good idea or just leave it alone....any input is needed...thanx in advance

anyone have any input??.....tring to start this on monday and i need to get the tools.......would any one think a compression check would be a safe bet?

The oil I tap from under the coil pack...

Check out my instructions on how to install a turbo. My instructions are based on the Focus-Power kit...

thanx that helped a lot.....my only problem is that my turbo has two lines that it feeds and one to return.....do i have to tap into 2 feeds?

Yes you have two line 1 is for oil feed that comes from the block and the second is the return oil line that hook up to the oil pan.. you will have to weld a bung ..

Feed line tap from the head under the coilpack


Return Line
if you look at the picture is the rubber hose that tap to the oil pan

ok.....2 morequestions.....one....i have 2 lines running as a feed to the turbo and one running to a pump then to the pan as a return......3 lines all together.......can i plug p a hole on the turbo and just run one line?.......second.....what size fitting goes into that hole under the coil pack?

what do you mean by pluging a hole on the turbo.. the turbo has two hole for oil line.. 1. that comes from the head to the turbo.. that will be the upper hole on the turbo.. then 2. the bottom hole goes to the oil pump, I'm guessing is because the turbo lay low or same level as the oil pan so you have to use a pump to pump it back to oil pan.. now if you have two more holes unless that turbo is water cool then that extra holes are for that, but I'm not sure since i don't have the precision turbo kit... Hopes this helps.. can you post pictures of the holes of the turbo to see if i could be more help...

I'll let you know about the size of the fitting from the block later... I don't remember right now,, i need to look at my notes when i did my instruccions on how to install Tom's Kit

i figured out what those lines are....it was water cooled.....but tanx a lot for your help.....really helped a lot.....thhanx though
