quick FI question

hey guys i just had a question before i think about adding FI (turbo). i just wanted to make sure that after you install a turbo can you drive it. i mean to get a good tune that is a good drive from my house would i be able to drive to get it tuned? or do you have to have it installed and tuned at the same time??

It is highly unlikely that your A/F Ratio or your idle will be stable enough to "Safely" drive the car anywhere.

the question is, why wouldn't you get a base tune sent to you via the internet and load that for the drive over?

I drove mine to go get it tuned. Just dont get into boost and you will be fine. If you boost then you will lean out and blow something.

well i would assume i would get a base tune when i install the turbo. i just thought you had to have it perfectly tuned to safely drive the car
