vortec boost help..

I've decided that i really don't need a massive amount of power for my zx3, and although i've heard convincing arguments for turbo kits and nos systems, my main concerns are reliability and cost. I've seen posts where people are tapping into 200-plus whp with the vortec system. good enough for me.

my question is, what is the maximum amount of boost one can run with this system, and does this involve more that changing a belt?

Vortech recommends 8-9psi on the stock kits....

There is a car with a stock bottom end running 16 psi with a custom computer.

Look here:
