from what ive heard though, the stock cams work fine with boost, especially coupled with crower valvetrain

Depends on the type of boost(I.E. Turbo, Roots blower or Vortech type blower). If you are running a Vortech to Pro-charger Mcnews is working on a set of cams just for that type of SC unit.

it really depends on your app. and tune......im looking into the cams from mcnews myself, im hoping over this upcoming summer to go fully built with a crazy amount of headwork done and i want the turbo-grind cams to finish it off, and the gains fully built are way different then stg1 but i would geuss a decent noticable gain and better driveability because they will be geared toward a turbo'd engine

I'm running the turbo cams from McNews (they're a custom grind, but Comp makes them) and they're awesome. They're pretty high lift, so you may need to get new springs and raise the idle though - I have them in an FR head but I had to go with Crower springs when using these cams. Call up Ray at McNews, cause I'm not sure if they have them in stock, had to wait a few weeks for mine, but that was almost a year ago.
