Got Juice??? Well I do now!!!

I just purchased my NX EFI wet kit yesturday for 580 bucks new. I will be installing it all this week. Just a few things i might ask, what are some other things to get besides like a blanket for the bottle, bottle opener, and a fuel pressure safety switch and pressure gauge.??? And any input for me from anyone that has installed one of this kits on a Focus SVT. THX Chris

Get the NX Gen X II Accessory kit. It will come with all necessities except RPM window switch & Remote opener.

Make sure you run colder plugs, not part of the kit but necessary none the less. Any of these should treat you right. Just gap them down to .035. I believe the Denso's come pre-gapped at .031 out of the box.

Motorcraft p/n AZFS22C >> 1.50 a plug
Denso Iridium p/n ITV22 ( 1 step colder ) around 11.00 a plug
Denso Iridium p/n ITV24 ( 2 steps colder ) " " "

The Denso's are great for spray just keep in mind that colder plugs with the smaller gap will foul out quicker than the stock heat range so you may want to swap the Denso's in and out for spray only as they are a bit pricey.

Rather than a blanket, I would get a bottle heater. They keep bottle pressure where it needs to be.. Def. worth the money.. On a cold day, a 50 shot will be 20-30 with a cold bottle.

I just got it installed last night, i started off with the 35 shot jets and it pulled ok....so i moved up to the 75 shot and i pulls hard....i raced this srt-4 that had exhaust and a boost controller (boost at 20), and short shifter....and i raced from a 55 roll down into 2nd gear and i hit the bottle and i pulled him like 1 car length...then he boosted that 20 lbs and he walked me down about a half a car ahead of me (my headlights at his driver door) and we stayed like that from 55 to 110 then let out....so it does ok....more mods coming soon. what did you do for timing? ive heard anything from 2-4 retard on stock timing for a 50 shot, and on up from there. in another thread toms saying you should pull up to 8 degrees for a 75 and go real fat on the fuel pills in the fogger with a mix of premium and race gas. this is after the guy melted a plug and did a number on an exhaust valve because his timing was too aggressive.

I never pulled any timing for the 55 or the 75. Just made sure the plugs were cold and that the gas was high octane. Usually had 93 mixed with 110 for the 75 and just straight 93 for the 55
