safest system

What would be the safest way to run a 50-75 shot through a wet kit in my car. I will have a wot switch, a window switch, colder plugs, mix a little high octane(100) in with it and i have a tune from wayne for the shot. Am i missing anything? And how valuable is a fuel pressure gauge when running nitrous? Thanks!

I'd say any name brand kit will be aok, I personally only use and install nx. By far the most complete kits and the fewest problems. If you have all the safety stuff you are talking about you'll be good to go. The fuel pressure gauge is great but it doesn't do much good unless you can somehow control the fuel pressure. Sounds like you've been doing your homework, thats the most important thing. Good luck, nitrous is addictive :D

Sounds like you would have a pretty good system there. Fuel pressure guage not mandatory, but fuel pressure cutoff switch is a very good idea. I have the NX system and have the GenX 2 accessory pack with everything else you could possibly need including the fuel pressure cutof switch. It is my personal opinion that it is driver error that smokes most engines. Run good plugs, high octane and a window switch and run forever on a 50 -75 shot.

You should have no issues with a tune and a good 50 wet shot, 75 should be okay , too. Just run best gas, one or two steps colder on the spark plug and maybe go up one jet size on the fuel jet for the nitrous.
