What about a cheap turbo kit?

Does anyone make a fairly cheap bolt-on turbo kit for the SVTF? And were could I find one? If money wasn't tight and I lived closer to you I would be hitting you up Tom. I just want a good reliable bolt-on turbo kit that's fairly cheap.....is that too much to ask!!

There arnt many "SVT" only kits out there so if you want a turbo "kit" you would have to talk to Tom. Or you could try and make your own.

ever heard the phrase, "you get what you pay for." I don't know about your money situations, however how I look at it is if I save to get 3000 dollars for a turbo, how long would it take to get a turbo that's 5000 dollars? Wouldn't you think that waiting a number of months more for a quality turbo is well worth the gains (hp/tq and quality)? Or you could be that special person who is satified with minor gains and isn't addicted to power! (lucky be to you)

Well since there is no kits for the SVT I guess I'll have to settle for a s/c. The JRSC seems to be the only one in my price range. I like the PW kit but I don't have that much. It's the money that makes the person special!

If you have enough for the JRSC then why dont you just get toms stage 1 kit for the svt. I think its less than 3000 and makes more gains and you can upgrade it more and easier. If I were you I would wait till I had enough for that kit. I was thinking about going s/c but I dont think that its worth it. Turbos produce so much more power and I think sound better but thats just me.

Agreed. I'd go with Tom's stage one. Like stated above its less then $3000 minus tuning and the upgradability is pretty much unlimited. You can upgrade as your money permits.

What is it that someone on here always says.

There's performance, reliable, and cheap. You can pick two but never have all 3.

Something like that anyway.
