Where can I find a cheap JRSC?

Where can I find a cheap JRSC b/c I don't think $2700 is worth it if I can get a Vortech w/o the cooler for about that price. Also, what is the rough estimate of whp, wtq, and 1/4 mile times people put out with this kit and all bolt-ons and stage 1 cams? I'm guessing around 180-ish whp and maybe 170-ish wtq? And my final question, do you think it would be safe to run a 35 or 50 shot of nitrous?

Cheap and supercharger do not go well in the same sentence. The price on these seems to be pretty well controlled, you may save a couple hundred bucks on one, but not drastic price changes. If you
have a local speed shop ask them what they can do for you, having a good working relationship with a business, internet or local, is the best way to go.
I have driven a honda and a miata with a jrsc, not a focus yet ( somebody want to let me drive theirs?..lol). They provide a nice , if small boost in power, its not awe inspiring, but it does provide a nice little extra push, I'm guessing 30-50 h.p., it is very smooth and easy to drive.
Also, I think the vortech is much more than that. I believe our own Turbo Tom has a very good price on the vortech.
There is a guy at my local speed shop running a 50 shot on top of a jrsc on a toyota, and it is holding up fine for now. I can't say about the focus. I would think fuel management had better be good or you are in trouble. It will probably take it, but I would feel better with a set of forged pistons in there.
Honestly, nitrous ( I know some don't like it, sorry) or a jrsc would be a nice inexpensive boost to a zetec, by the time you do both and get all the tuning right , just call up Turbo Tom and get one of his excellent kits and fly safely.

Don't have any idea about an inexpensive purchase except to say I've seen it advertised new for $26oo all over. You might find a used one?
As far as performance figures, the following are from a product test of the JRSC in Focus Fanatic Mag. ( Premier and so far, only issue)

With the addition of a Jackson Racing Supercharger peak Horsepower went from a stock 100.8 at 5,300 RPM to 134.4 @ 6,700 RPM. Torque peak rose to 124.3 lb-ft @ 3,800 rpm from 108.7 lb-ft 4,400 rpm. With header and Borla Cat-Back peak h/p went to 141.1 while torque moved up to 129.7. All data reflects measurement at the wheels.

btw didn't notice 1/4 mile figures in the article.

Hey Viney, weren't you going to supercharge that ZTW?
Then you'd have a real "autobahn cruiser". Plus, you'd be my Focus mod idol.

JRSC does not push out enough power you get what you pay for though that the truth unless your willing to drop upwards of 5k on a focus it will never do anything really amazing
