heck yes you are..whats the point in havin threads if they arent comparing parts eh?

from the looks of it, vortech as the most potential, cfm is runnin a 12 with their vortech setup..jrsc are for those that want quick boost, but they are still nice, but arnt very high output sc..ive heard that vortech puts out better numbers, and offers an aftercooling kit for it..the jrsc doesnt, though you could via methanal..i havent see a car puttin more than about 220whp with a bbk jrsc..people have gotten over 300whp with the vortech somehow..and the svt with the aftercooler version is puttin about 250whp stock..so vortech it is thats what im gettin

Can you get the non-intercooled and upgrade to the intercooled later?

jegs sells it, try www.vortechsuperchargers.com i think, or just google voertech

FocusSPort also sells a supercharger kit that uses a vortech blower without the drive shaft that runs across your engine compartment. Thats what i am running right now and its great.

C-F-M has a good deal on them last i checked and yes the Vortech has the most upgradeability dont rule out the ProCharger tho it also has lots of room to grow and much easier to install

The only SC i would look into is the Vortech or the ProCharger these by far have the best numbers for a stock engine

The JRSC is about maxed out when you buy the kit then add a smaller pully and maybe some water/meth injection.
All you can do from there is do some motor build up to get more power.

The Vortech is upgradable to get more gains by getting an intercooler.
The Vortech does have a shaft from the crank side of the engine to be ran over to the drivers side of the engine where the blower is located. Not sue how much power loss is involved.
You also have to relocate the battery into the bumper.

I would go with the procharger kit myself just cause I don't like the idea of tapping my oil pan like you have to do with the vortech kit. The oil you use in your car isn't made to handle the rpms of the blower. The procharger kit has a self contained oil system and thats cool.
