Wow, sounds good...once you snag some AM mods, those numbers should jump nicely!

Way to go Chewy. Now everyone can see the base line of the FS/VF SC. Now you can get more power.

tparker mentioned that there were a lot of people wanting to know track times with this kit on a totally stock car, so here they are.

best of the night

60' 2.461
330' 6.709
1/8 10.184@70.85mph
1000' 13.085
1/4 15.673 @ 90.183

now how i got that time. i'm running on 215/45-17 kumho ecsta 711s. my first run of the night coming straight off the highway with about a half hour cooldown was a 16.2, i then went straight back to the lanes and ran a 16.8, this drop was due to major heat soak in the SC. the next time up i ran a 16.1. then thre was an oil down so we had to sit for an hour with a slight breeze that picked up. witha nearly cooled off SC i ran a 15.8. i took a slight amount of air out of my tires and waited another 45 mins for my next pass and thats when i got the 15.6. Mr. TParker finished the night off with a 13.841, his personal best with the kit.

My major problems are wheel spin, i'm having to relearn how to launch with the added torque, no more 4k jumps, more like 1500-2k, but then its just pedal to the metal all the way down. i need to adjust my rev limit because i'm hitting the limiter exactly as i pass the traps. next time i go out i'll prolly have slicks on 15's so my 60' should drop a little bit.

For your HP that is a really low trap speed. I understand the ET being slow due to wheel spin but shes laying down on the top big time. TParker with 236 whp and only pulling 101 mph I think he has the same problem.

its due mainly to the heat, once the car gets goin in boost, the SC heats up the intake charge like mad and the computer starts pulling timing really hard. once we get the aftercoolers on the trap speed should increase alot.
