Exclamation NOS and Turbo????

just wondering if its safe to run NOS and a turbo on a stock engine turbo running 10 psi. and a low shot of NOS and what shot would be safe. im looking at Zex wet kit or NOS wet kit. if its not safe what would i need to do. i would like to in the near future do forged internals but cant affaord it right now. also if anyone knows the laws for Nitrous in PA. thant would be great.

if you have stock internals there is no point in both either will make more horsepower than your motor can handle

He already has the turbo kit put in. He wants to know if he can add a nos kit.

On stock nternals, you may NOT want to add the nitrous. Upgrade all of that first, then maybe you can. But talk to Tom, he's the one who would know.

It IS pushing it without forged internal parts. You say you cannot afford forged bits right now? Well, you prolly cannot afford a blown engine either.

I have friends that have run both where the nitrous sprays at first and then shuts off ( using a hobbs switch ) once the boost reaches 7 pounds. This is the only thing I would consider at all with stock internals... You really need to build the motor to do this ... Under boost, with nitrous your egt's are going to be really high without a proper tune as well.

yeah most definatly upgrade the engine to be safe, like they said, if you blow the motor you'll be forced to buy a new one and the forged parts, anyway :p
