Ebay manifold??

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone had experience with this manifold? most likely I will just stay with my current plan to save some cash of using the stock manifold.

That manifold looks like it could be okay, but who knows what the one that gets shipped will look like. The thing to look for with manifolds is the quality of the welds, and the thickness of the piping wall. Thicker piping is better than thin stuff. As for welds, if they look consistent and smooth, that's a good sign.

As far as ebay manifolds in general go, cast manifolds are USUALLY the better option than a thin wall tubular manifold. (I've used a cast manifold from the same seller on ebay for my duratec and it's a good manifold.)

BUT... It would save you $100 to use the stock one... Just cut the stock flange off and have someone weld in a t25 flange for you, or make an adapter.

The first one seems to be a direct copy of the Xios manifold. I have the Xios manifold and the custom downpipe is going to be TIGHT. I also had to trim the fan frame to make clearance for the turbo and downpipe. The Xios downpipe clears the AC compressor so that makes things even more tight.

You do know there is a legit, brand new, Focus Power turbo kit for sale in the BST section for CHEAP.

If you want to properly boost your ride is gonna cost! And if you want it to be reliable its gonna cost more. Take your time and spend your money wisely so you can really enjoy your car later.
