Well its not realy new it has been in the Ford ranger for some time

We will VERY SOON have a steel crank and already have a stroker kit to make it a 2.5

As for the turbo kit i am looking for a doner car to do the first kit on,There will be NO labor or tuning fees ONLY the cost of the parts for the kit about 3500 to 4000

Tom

I imagine you are right... not many 2.3L turbo Rangers out there. But there are a CONSIDERABLE amount of 83-88 2.3L turbo Thunderbirds. Ever heard of them? I believe the last year they made them, which was 88, the suckers sported a 2.3L turboed and intercooled motor producing 190 hp. That'd be enough to get these Foci running, wouldn't it???

Check out www.turbotbird.com for more info. Heck, maybe you could just swipe a turbo set up from one of those cars...

Good luck!

the duratec vs the svo engine you cant compare. The newer technology should make more pwr easily compared to the older svo style setup. 2.3 motor is stout though it same engine mazda useswhich i seen a few kits on
