Rebuilding turbo $265 even worth it?

i have a t25 from a dsm...i want to use it bcause i got it free, but the compressor and turbine wheels are bad, plus the rebuild kit is about 285 total, do u guys think its even worth it, i like the turbo because it has the internal wastegate, are there any opther turbos with internal wastegates?

not alot of credability with that buyer, are you sure the rebuild kit is $285? that sounds overpriced. around me they do t25's for like $150

thats the thing, im rebuilding the turbo myself, the rebuild kit is only 75, but the compressor wheel/shaft is 155 and the turbine wheel is 55

16g would work just fine, just spool might not be until a little bit later but not to shabby

for a 16g it looks like the piping might be harder to run becuase i need a jpipe, what are the internal wastegates set at on the 16g

Have you taken the turbo apart? If you haven't and you know it's bad you might want to try it. It's like the exhaust bolts on the cat everyone has trouble with but maybee worse.Unless your experienced with a rebuild it may be more than you want to mess with for the price difference in replacing the whole thing.
