..did you actually weld your downpipe into the stock SVT cat, instead of just "buying" a flange from tom or someone else??



probably could of had a flange made....

yeah i know my DP is ugly, i looked everywhere for a flange and couldnt find one so yeah i just welded it right to the cat. all my buddies that said they would help fell through when i needed to weld so i tought myself along the way, i kinda dont care what they look like, none leak and thats all that matters to me. as for what im putting down i dont know yet, the MAF transfer function is off when i get into WOT so i need to mess around with that, and once i get that taken care of ill post up some dynos. im shooting for about 240-250whp and 220-230tq though

Emmission legal NO , you replaced the stock CAT with one from another car , even tho it is off a Focus it isnt in the stock location or the stock CAT

well, im not throwing CEL's and it has a cat, and i think the law is it can be relocated if your over 50k miles and im at 55,3xx so i think im ok, i know a guy who will overlook that its relocated and stuff so i should be ok

local hardware store.....its actually a 2" to 2" 90 degree elbow, but it tapers real bad after the ends so i cut one end off cause the inner diameter ended up being the 1.75" compressor outlet size so it worked out great, just had to stretch the other side over my 2.5" piping
