Turbo Electronics

Ok, I have decided long ago that I wanted to go turbo with my Focus..
I know that I am going to invest in a few quality gages including a wideband A/F..

But my question is:

What additional electronic components are you guys using,... typically.
I kind of would like to put together a list of whats what.

Thanks for your input.

Im using a greddy turbo timer, which was a waste of money if you have a good new turbo

Other things ive been considering, j&s safeguard, wideband, and something to data log

Like my predator & laptop?

I was thinking about the timer... sounded like it was pretty important.. but hey I haven't owned a turbo car before so I just wouldn't know.

Thanks, is there anything else out there that would be nice to have other than the safegaurd?

you don't need a timer just sit there with the car running for a minute or two, keeps the insurers happier too

electronic..?... Booost Controller is very convenient, mine is a Greddy Profec B.. A J&S safeguard would come in handy, but not necessary if your tuner is goood at what he does...probly the most important AFTER you get a Turbo is a radar detector...

If you use a newer turbo just hook up the water lines to it and let water cool it, I'm hooking mine up this weekend.

Most DEFINITLY get a radar detector
