if you have somewhat of an idea how cars work, the SCT prp is the way to go, and you can buy a manual for it for $75 that basically tells you how to do it as well as if you buy from certain places you can get access to help forums to help you tune the way you want. make sure you plan to spend almost double your ORIGINAL budget, when i started mine i aimed for about $2000 and im finishing off at about $3200 for a custom GT28r setup....heres my thread if it helps ya get an idea what your getting into

turbo S2 progress pics

also heres a pic of how i made MY OWN adapter to use with my shorty header and keep the EGR in tact to pass emissions

This couldnt be further from the truith , I know many GOOD home shop builders that cant tune and know cars well , It isnt as easy as reading a book and then go tune your car like many would have you to beleive

It takes time A LOT OF TIME reading , understanding then reading again , Then you start tuning things then the problems start , I dont know how many have the SCT Pro that trailor there cars here because they cant get it to run with the chip in

I think the SCT Pro is a good tool but dont think it is plug and play , Its hard work and takes a lot of time and not the easiest software to use
