Lightbulb How much boost???

I wonder how much boost can be put to a zetec 9.0:1 compression on 93oct. gat, and how much timing with it.

Dont know about 9.0:1 but on a 10.25:1 I'm running 19psi and maybe 15* timing....

I run 14 on 93 with stock 9.6 But I also know the risks and have the resources to deal with such things if something were to happen.

doubt it...unless you have a hell of a fuel system with monster injectors, a better intake, a killer bottom end and head, and a MASSIVE turbo.

Well, This is what I have already have in my engine. Crower rod, je esslinger pistons, total seal, aftermarket mains, ARP bolts all over the engine, Ferrea oversize valves , Crower retainers and springs, ported head sheet metal intake, spec stage IV, fidanza flywheel, SCT pro.

Got a Holset HY35W in my garage, injector driver.
Seeking 83# injector, 12x24x4 core intercooler, piping, etc. fuel pump.

Yupp, sound sgreat. Add a fuel system and your good to go. Talk to Tom, hes the one with the experience with high boost on a focus.

might want to check out sean hyland also and get some tips from them. they have a ~500hp zetec sitting there. they ended up running out of fuel.. haha

wonder if anyone has thought about making a dual fuel rail setup for the zetec...
