Exclamation Vortech Supercharger Problem

Hi guys, I currently changed all my pulleys on my 2003 Ford Focus with the zetec engine, I also changed my supercharger composite coupling between the pulley drive shaft and the supercharger main shaft, so all my pulley are straight including the new belt. So everything should be working fine?

No, every 2 or 3 days I have to press my pulley to go further back in the coupling, the pulley goes out of the coupling and start to rattle and my belt is no longer lined with the other pulleys.

Has anyone have gotten into this problem? If anybody could help me out because I'm running out of ideas it would be really appreciated

I will post pictures if needed.

Kevin.

I have done a good bit of the Vortech install and tuning and I have never seen the pulley sliding off the shaft , I dont remember if the shaft had a key way ? what holds it to the shaft ?
When you say you have to press it back on the shaft how are you doing this

Hi Tom, thanks for replying back.

My my shaft where my pulley is bolted on always goes out of my coupling between the supercharger and the pulley, always have to press my pulley with the shaft back in the coupling or my belt would not be aligned. I don't understand why it would do that. Would a too tight belt cause this? I currently don't have a ac compressor so I don't know if the new shorter belt is too tight and cause my problem.
Hope I explained it well.

Kevin.

I did a little drawing of what I'm talking if it can help.
All the yellow part gets out of the coupling in the driveshaft housing.

The only thing that stops it from sliding out is the belt itself and the 3 pin that goes in my coupling. On the pulley side.

I assume this is the pulley? Bolt holds it on?

Are the installation instructions available online? I don't know where mine are?
