running a 75 shot the safe way

i want to run a 75 shot and nx says that the fuel jet to use is #22. what if i use a #24 just to be on the safeside with fuel.would that help the need for fuel? or would it be a problem? if that doesnt work then what do i need to run a 75 shot safley? meaning not wondering if my engine is gonna blow while im kickin some rsx-s or wrx ass.

thanks

I run the NX 75 shot with no problems Just go 2 sizes down on your plugs and make sure you up 92 + octane and you will be fine. I also use a wot switch.Make sure you only use the jucie
4000 rpm's and up.

I agree with all that. I would also add a fuel pressure safety switch to the car ( about $40), it will shut it all down if the fuel pressure goes to low. It is a nice safety to have. 2 heat ranges down on the plugs is what he means, and use a copper electrode plug. And as above, ONLY 92 or better octane. You do not have to have it, but a RPM window switch to keep you out of the rev limiter is a good idea ,too

Upping the fuel jet one size is not a bad idea, it will richen the mixture and make it safer. It will lessen the HP of the hit a bit.

The plugs you want are Motocraft AZFS22C you can get them from the Ford dealer or anyone else that sells motorcraft also check with the site sponsors to see if they sell them> I know Focus-Power uses them its the same ones Tom uses on his turbo motors

If you cant find any I have a 2 extra sets I bought so I would have spare ones since they were hard to find.

Yes i use the AZFS22C plugs in the SVT but in the white car i use a custom plug that we make
by taking another plug and machining it to work , it is a much colder plug than the 22c

RPM switches are about $60 or so. Several companies make them. Msd, etc. Mine is sold by NX, but any of them will work as far as I know.
