supercharger vs turbocharger

wanna know if the jackson racing suoercharger or a turbo would be better for the svt model focus. when i get back from iraq i wanna beef up my engine. intake power then header and exhaust. so i would like some tips and just opinions on what has worked for yourself. thanks

The JR is a very weak SC a turbo will give you a lot of power.

a turbo will give you better performance....
but the the JRSC tend to be a less espensive...

you can do a search about this...

there are more threads like this arround the forum

Yes, search. But I would recommend the Powerworks supercharger kit for the SVT. Sounds very nice. Take a look at it at www.focussport.com.

I've driven the powerworks kit on a normal zetec engine and I almost pissed my pants.

Once the powerworks svt kit comes out it should have some really good gains.

you can put a blow off valve on a supercharger if im not mistaken. personally i think daily driver go with a supercharger, if you plan on serious racing then get a turbo. thats what i get from reading alot on this topic since i want to go F/I as well. best of luck and tell us how it works out.
