Supercharged Tuning

I installed the Jackson Racing supercharger on my car last Christmas. Well, they included a cheap black box to provide enough fuel under heavy boost to prevent detonation. It does this by grounding out the injectors. When I let off the throttle and I see my engine enter vaccum on my boost guage, most of the time it is not responsive. It feels like the computer has attempted to overcompensate for the excess fuel by cutting back on the injectors output. Well, when the black box does not detect boost, it stops grounding injectors and lets the computer take over. At this point, it feels like the computer has cut off almost all fuel flow and thats why I'm not feeling any engine response. I usually have to let my foot completely off the throttle momentarily and then resume acceleration for it to work appropriately. Someone tell me if I'm wrong abou this, but I am inferring this the most logical way I know.

Does anyone know if it's possible to acquire a tune and remove this black box? Any supercharged foci with tunes out there?

Do the tunes only alter parameters at full throttle or at partial throttle as well?

Who is the best foci tuner out there?

I can tune the jrsc but to do it properly you will need 42Injectors and either a MAFia or a Recal MAF

If your happy with what you have or did have you could try to take your Batt loose for about 15 to 30 Min then go drive it and see if it is working like when you put it on

A good tune will always be better and safer tho

Yeah, I was thinking those were going to be the key factors. The JRSC is a very appealing mod - for those of us that don't have 6 grand laying around.
Talk to godspeedless. He's got my car now.
