roush turbo problems

I have just installed a roush turbo charger onto my car, everything seems to be running fine, but I am having problems with my idle. I can push on the gas to keep the engine running but it is delayed and as soon as I let go of the gas, the engine runs for a second then bogs out and dies. If anyone knows what might be the problem, any help would be appreciated, thanks.

with the different A/F curve you probably just need to set your idle a little higher....stock idle speed is approx 704rpms i beleive....raise it to between 800 and 1000 and see if that takes care of it.....someone else had the same problem and that solved it

There isnt a way to change the idle with out having the ability to retune your car

If the tune is correct they sent you it should idle PERFECT if it was idleing good from the start

Call whoever you bought it from and talk to them

After finishing the install and reconecting the battery, did you give the car time to remember how to idle? I had a simular problem after reseting the ecu and just jumping in the car and driving off. You have to let the car idle for 5 or more min, can't remember exactly. Mind you my problem was with a stock car/tune, but it should still function the same way.

Odd... that doesn't seem like an issue that would be related to fuel pressure... I would think you're running to rich down low and the added throttle allows more air in which "eventually" gets your A/F set.

I'm not 100% sure but just be cautious.. that might not have been your problem, and you could have the same issue when you get the car back.
