i have no egr on my car currantly. it was tuned without it and i have heard some people saying that its not better without the egr and that it runs better with it on. i was wondering if this is true and why? also i have a sortof (stalling/feels like its getting to much fuel) symptom. and i was wondering if it was a surging problem with my maf, being that the whole air/fuel ratio curve was remapped?

EGR off your car wont effect the way it runs , it does need to be turned off with the tuning tho

Contact your tuner for the stalling issue

some other car forums they claimed it caused lesser performance for street use, I've driven it with both on and off, there was no difference in drivability. But I'd much rather have it on there and be emissions legal since we have testing here where I live.

I don't see a reason for removing it other than space requirements.

I have it removed on my car though the main reason was installing an SVT header. It's disabled via tuning and with a block-off plate. It did raise some of my emissions readings during my last test but I still passed. The best thing is I don't have to worry about the dpfe sensor failing again.
