JRSC Power Range??

I just got my JRSC on and well went out for a cruise, me and my buddie with a Jetta 1.8T. We went up to the track earlier this year when I ran a 15.3, and he hit 15.5 average. So I figure now with my SC id be able to take him no matter what but crusin at around 3500-4000 he hits it then I hit it after him and slowly was creepen on him (shutting it down once I hit third) but i wasnt able to completely get ahead of him. (once we hit it i just sayed beside him)

I found this odd and it pissed me off because he thinks the SC didnt do much for power.

What im thinken is reving at 3500-4000 the SC isnt producing power very well, once you hit 5000+ there is all the power.

So where is all the power and for a rolling race what RPM range is key?

with all my mods im hopen to be able to take at least 1 sec of my 1/4 mile time. Also could there possibly be an issue with my SC? I dont think so I installed it myself and everything went as planned and the car is running amaizing, but if there was some sort of pressure leak I would see it in the performance of the car and boost gauge wouldnt I?

Any comments will help

thanks

I have said for years the the jrsc is the lowest power adder for the Focus on the market and have also said not to expect much from it yet people keep buying them and expecting it to realy make a change

I would say 3000 to 4000 would be its sweetest spot you will find and a good place to jump from

Changing to some good tuning will help the mid range but again dont expect much from it , changing the pulley will help some but then you start pumping hotter air

That's without the alcohol kit that was recently installed on a Tekin 3" pulley.

217whp, not bad at all

From what I hear the next 30 will be hard to get, unless you guys can figure out a way to cool the charge air.

Good Luck
