thinkin of getting JRSC, have some ?'s first

I am planning on getting a JRSC here real soon, but have some questions for the people who already have it. just incase somebody was going to suggest Vortec of Powerworks, i only have enough for the JRSC.

1. How is MPG affected?
2. any common problems or reliability issues?
3. does approx 3K for the unit plus install sound about right?
4. how well does the factory clutch hold? i am getting a new one but not for alittle.
5. can I use my AEM CAI?
6. does it use your existing TB? and if so can i use my FC 65mm on it.
7. I recall seeing somewhere they have a big boost kit, smaller pulley i think, anyone have that?

ok i think thats it, i would greatly appreciate some feedback on my questions, thanks alot.

nick

1. The mpg are affected only when in boost or if you get bigger injectors.
2. No. Eaton style blowers are the more reliable in the industry. They get used as OEM parts.
3. Depends where you buy it from and who installs it. You and friends can install it in 12 hrs.
4. JSSVT04 went thru a stock SVT cluch in 3000 miles. Just don't beat it up.
5. Yes.
6. Yes.
7. You can use BBK from the ZX3. I recommend that you have a tune and bigger injectors.

Hope this helps.

The 250whp is NOT out of the box, and won't be had without alot of modifications.

If you can afford it and dont have emmissions testing in your area I would go turbo.

Check out my Sig. thats on STOCK internals and pump gas

We must be talking about supercharging an SVT. Reason i say that is because i see barely 170whp in my ZX3. Barely, probably safer to say 165whp.
