I will be the first to admit I do not have any experience with dry kits... I do not I do not like the idea behind them. I much prefer the way a wet kit works... I seriously doubt the stock injectors can step up to a 50 shot..

well from what ive read, dry kits are safer than wet if you install them corectly. i do plan on getting some larger injectors and getting my MAFS retuned to them. but i want to know if the stock ones can handle it?

Hey Axman,
I know you are looking for the injector size, and that is all you really want. But I think I remember reading some where on this forum, or one of the others, that the Duratec's don't handle the Dry Systems very well at all. If I am recalling correctly the post said that it was unsafe to run Dry, but a wet system was ok if installed correctly. Maybe you did your Homework though and have learned from other mistakes, I just wanted to let you know of something I ran acrossed. Hope you get your system working though!

go with a wet kit its even safer than the dry,it also comes with a wide open throttle switch and and nitrous cutoff switch as well, stop worrying about your injectors,it will work,if i had a 50 shot wet kit on my 99 sunfire stock motor and had to make no adjustments to the injectors or fuel system, and drove the car over 23,000 miles using the kit,and had no problems execpt towards the end before i got rid of it the clutch would only slip while using the nitrous.nitrous can be safe if you use the correct specified jets from the manufaturer and spend extra for the extras to make it work properly at all times such as a bottle heater, gauge, air fuel ratio gauge, colder spark plugs, and wanna have good flow through the intake and out the exhaust.if you have any more questions drop me a line i installed plenty of kits and have pictures as well.
