Jrsc is on!!!

wow... i love it.... thanks to everyone on here who has helped me along the way... and so many people who pulled the all nighter to get it done,... getting that blower and then the tune from team ford in marietta makes it seem even better than before... and i mean drivabilty wise... skipping the jr supercard thing all together and going straight with a tune is most defitnitely the way to go!!!

I'll be following in your footsteps soon....everything is sitting on my bedroom floor waiting for the install and dyno tune. What did you use for tunning and what kind of #'s you get off the dyno?

i unistalled mine from someones car, and used their tuner, so... it wasnt my car on the dyno... he says he put down 215... apparently the xcalibrator unlocks if you put the car it was on back to tune f.(actory)... then i flashed my car... so im not sure waht im putting down... but i will find out soon enough... I encountered a problem though.... i think my alternator effed up... its not making enough power, and basically all the electrical just quit on my car, like the gauges and everything died, but the car still ran... but just barely... if someone could tell me if they have had this happen before... and any solutions shy of buying a new alternator... i had a battery light on before it all went downhill.

If the alt. quit , then you were running on the battery until you drained it.. Take your alt. off the car and take it to an auto parts store that can check it for you ( call ahead).. They will check it, if it is shot just buy a new one.

i have a friend who works at autozone... we tested it in car... as far as we can tell, it is shot... it kills me to have to route that serpentine belt again, not to mention... without tall enough jackstands it seems easier to just take the blower off to get at the alternator... i just found out today that my parents bought me an extended warranty for my car... the best part is, through carmax i can take the car anywhere i want to be serviced, they just call carmax for authorization and the dealership can bill carmax whatever they want... so since they are getting paid in full, the performance oriented dealership near me is taking care of the alternator... all for a 75 dollar deductible.... half the price of a new alternator... and without me having to bust a knuckle.... sometimes i love my parents thinking ahead..... carmax warranty better than SVT>>>??? modifications... we won't tell em'
