Duratec Superchargers?

i know its been only a year and ive only had my car 3 days but i want FI, just something simple like a roots style SC i only want to make 5lbs of boost , and im sure there are others out there that would like to do the same. any ideas on anyone making a kit, and i am aware that tom has a kit.

not yet. i dunno why this was moved to fi, these questions have asked multiple times in our forum without being moved. and we seem to give a sufficient answer. Besides the fact that this is a duratec specific question.


powerworks apparently has a prototype of a supercharger. As far as i know that all that are working on one now at the minute.

Isn't the flamed focus from F2 on the latest issue of FF magazine a duratec with a custom turbo....it may be worth it to contact them.

Walter mercy was making a turbo kit for the duratec,the only promblem was the duratec has very weak rods and right around 7 psi is the breaking point.So if you are going to do any type of F/I you need to buy a set of rods,Dont quote me but Im not even sure if a set of rods have been realeased yet.

i was browsing the cosworth site if you download the pdf. catalog for the duratec they make rods for the 2.0 duratec.

I have heard the same rumor from a pretty reliable source...LOL, it will be a while...apparantly the ATX version is next in line..
