tom says that 170 is too cold and that the 190 degree theromsat for a 96-98 zetec contour is best.

Any zetec contour has a 180 avail at any parts store. Oh yeah, it's THERMOSTAT for the record.

2003 Focus DOHC 2.0L- part #F8R28575CA

can someone really verify the thermostat degree rating on the focus? Advanced-Auto doesnt even have a listing for the focus' thermostats. but he tell me that the contour thermostat is rated at 195 degree. im kinda scratching my head here, can someone make this dillema go away? thanks

Go down to a local parts dealer... autozone, pepboys....where ever and get a STANT 180* thermo for a ZX3... which also fits in an SVT

They are around $8.00

the part number is Stant 13978

Happy Shopping!!
