Well after going through what ive been doing i just hurt my motor on a 50 shot, not completly the nitrous fault tho. If i were you now id throw in 2 steps colder plugs and pull 1 or 2 degrees of timing and have a chip programed for your nitrous setup to up the fuel pressure to 60 or 70 psi and get yer car dyno'ed to see what the air fuel ratio is, the shop by me charges 75 bucks for 3 or 4 dyno pulls. Im not sure on the 2.3 motors tho i just heard that the rods or pistons in the new motors are just as weak or weaker than the old zetec.

Someone who knows a little more about this will post tho and we'll see what Viney Tom or Mr Sqautch says.

hope this helps

Brandon.
