I changed the #'s to HP and PSI so it's a bit easier to understand:

And here is theoretically #/Min for the zetec:

So around about 2,000 you would start spooling that turbo @ 22psi.

It's an odd map. Looks like it'd be for a small diesel and not a gas engine. Normally gas engine's don't map out to 60psi. And when they do they'll make more than 350hp.

Simply put, it's not a good turbo for a zetec.

Chalon, Check this link out --> http://www.turbos.bwauto.com/aftermarket/matchbot.aspx

Just leave as is and go down to the "Compressor Match" section.
Pick the "67X80".
That IMO would be a really nice DD turbo. Very responsive and good power down low. Not going to make a ton of power but should be good for around 300HP @ 30psi.

If you don't want to run that much pressure but be near that power, pick the 62K80. It's going to need more intercooler because it won't be as efficient at higher RPM. but it can do about the same power at a lower pressure.

I am familiar with the EFR's. Been looking at them for some time now, and agree the 6758 is a nice piece. The price is holding me back. Oddly enough the 6258 and 6758 are the same price.

Things about money...money about things. Not ruling anything out just yet. Thanks for the tip.

Oh I know what ya mean, my tree is still in it's infancy ... and wilting.

But take note of how they plot over the compressor map. That plot is actually based off the exhaust side. Or in other words, the exhaust side is just as important as the intake, if not moreso.
It has to do with how much 'work' the exhaust can impart on the turbine. Too little ex energy or to large of wheel (or A/R) and you won't even spin a small compressor up to speed.
So take note of that recommenced turbine A/R and wheel size. That combined with the intake wheel size should give you an approximate range to stay within.
Then you can use that info to take your chances with a similarly sized turbo from a different company.
The things that will be different with a different company are the weights of the wheels and maybe the pitch of the blades. So don't expect equal results, but similar shouldn't be too tough to get.
