New generation JRSC for SVT, 2500 includes shipping

The JR Gen4 M62 has an all new housing with a much larger output window. The volumetric efficiency of the inlet and outlet windows have been increased by nearly 12% which attribute to its low discharge temperatures. Digital Tuning technology allows JR to take direct control of the injectors to manage fuel perfectly. The days of rising rate regulators and sensor manipulation to 'trick' the factory ECU to deliver more fuel are gone.

No, I'm not selling it, just thought it was a helluva good price, especially when you include free shipping ... Wish I could justify it with the wife ... happy motoring.

Ok, I'll ask the dumb question:

Why can't the SVTF JRSC be installed on a standard Zetec engine ?

The intake portion of the head is the same on the 2 engines right ?

I know the new Powerworks SC, priced at $4500+ uses the M62 blower but maybe the mounting to the intake/head is different on the SVTF JRSC ???

No red, still sporting the K&N drop in ... this past month has been crazy ... I am going to do something soon though. I may even keep the stock box, take off the mini snorkle and run some tubing to pick up some cooler air ...

micro, the difference is because of the VCT on the SVT. the use of VCT necessitated a revised passenger side engine mount for cam pulley clearance. this revised engine mount in turn required a different alternator bracket. because of the repositioned alternator, the JRSC kit had to be modified slightly to fit properly

I guess I'm dense but I'm not seeing the difference between this and the "old" JRSC for the SVT? I don't see any evidence of computer "tuning" either, if you read further it still mentions the "Supercard" which is not an actual tune of your car's computer...

i dont think i get it either....can u still put the m62 and manifold on the none svt block...if so then what does the VCT have to do with it. VCT is usually disabled if u chip it anyway right?...it is here!..http://www.lightspeedinnovations.com...tInfo.epl?ID=1

Base Zetec and SVT ports are different ... the SVT port is larger and has a higher floor.
