jrsc svt

How much boost can u get from a jrsc I saw a guy with lower compression and running with i think 20psi with some help from Tom. So how much boost could u get with a stock svt and be safe. I know like Tom said if u tune it can handle more boost. But just how much can it handle. Toms kit is sweet but $$ jrsc is good for the money but I want more hp then the 200hp to the wheels maybe like 280 or a lil less. (vortech to expensive too)

Don't take me wrong, I want to see all the horsepower that can be made in these engines. I just believe the JRSC wont get to 280whp unless you can keep the charge air cool.

RPMlabs had a JRSC with some machine work done to it which allowed the use of an intercooler, you may give them a call and see what they can do for you

ya, and that failed horrbly. Adding all that extra pipe for the FMIC. THe m45 is way to small for that. If you want an intercooled SC setup let me know. My IAT's are staying under 100 with a 3.6 pulley making 10lbs at half throttle.

250 is definitly doable on the mp62(svt kit blower). Hell i made 205 on the tiny m45 with no injection at only 6lbs boost. Anyhting is possible if you have the mind state todo it. jssvt's car will make 250whp and 200trq before the year is out, and possibly within a couple months.
