supercharger or turbo?vortech

i want my zetec to be at about 200 hp whp. What's the difference between a turbo and supercharger? also i looked at the vortech. Is that good? and which ones would you pick if you had to buy one? nitrous not in question. just between turbo s or superchargers. and how much you think it would cost me to install one?
can you nos a turbo or supercharger?
sorry alot of questions.
thanks

you can easily gain 200 mark with a s/c. Superchargers are usually alot easier to install (Vortech is one that is not).

like most i said all i wanted was 200BHP, but now my goal is 300BHP, I'm glad i went for turbo in the end as wanting more power isn't such a problem with a turbo setup.

yes you can add nitrous to Forced induction but highly recommended you use a wet kit (only every so slightly more expensive) as a dry setup may cause the nitrous to detonate in the induction.

if money is not a problem, go with a Roush turbo. +95 horses to the wheels but it'll cost you 4000. if you don't want to pay that much but get about +60 to the wheels get a Jackson Racing supercharger it'll run about 2600

If 200 is all you want than Turbo STG1 2795.00 and 850.00 for tuning or get your own tuning

i would go for Gude Stage 2 Turbo with boost controller. you'll end up getting more than 200hp with boost controller.

Your kidding right ? a gude kit ?

Why would tell any one to try a gude kit , No other kit has blown up more Focus Zetec engine from a FI kit of any kind in the world

Your in Charlotte im in Belmont about 12 miles from you , you need to come over here and see what a real turbo kit looks and feels like

I'd be very leary of anything like that used, especially for "really cheap" as they say, you get what you pay for.
