How much boost?

How much boost can a stock 2.0 Zetec handle?

I have a T25 turbo. I plan on upgrading to a bigger turbo, and stronger internals this next winter, but i don't feel like tearing down my engine so close to spring.

Tuning is important , What sets the limit for boost is the octane , with high octane 105 or better and it properly tuned you can safely run 12 to 14 PSI
